I know a lot of you don't like Dr. Phil... well too bad...
Guy: I cheated 2 years ago. Why is she not over it yet?
Dr. Phil: Time does not heal. That is a misconception. She is in the same place that she was two years ago when she got that phone call; she still feels the exact same pain and turmoil. Healing only comes when there is behavioral, emotional, and romantic support and change. She will never forgive you until she feels you understand the depths of how much you have hurt her.
