Big Skeleton

Back in 2000, there was a huge craze in the internet world. People found these pictures of an 80 foot human skeleton being excavated in India.... No one knew what to believe until looking closely....If you look closely, the shadows of the skull do not match the rest of the picture. Later, they found the picture that it resulted from:
It was actually just the excavation of a mastadon by some Cornell students in New York.

Anyway, here are some more wonderful imaginative pictures of the giant skeleton. The people who released this into the internet must have thought it was such a hoot. They actually grabbed the attention of the paranormal investigation center at the headquarters of Rationalist International.

so sad...

From Chosun:
The case of an eight-year old Korean girl who was adopted and later dumped by a Dutch diplomatic couple has caused an international outcry. Born in Daegu, Jade is now in danger of ending up a displaced orphan in Hong Kong, as her adoptive parents allegedly decided she did not “fit in” seven years after they adopted her as an infant. Jade was adopted at the age of four months in January 2000 by the Dutch diplomat, who was working in South Korea, and his wife. At the time, the woman reportedly believed she was infertile, but the couple have since had two children of their own. They moved to Hong Kong in July 2004 and early last year decided they did not want Jade any more and left her in the care of Hong Kong’s Social Welfare Department.

Since then, Jade has been shunted from home to home, living sometimes at the home of a foreign missionary or at a welfare center. Since September, three people including a South Korean woman married to an American and a Hong Kong resident of North Korean descent have expressed interest in adopting Jade. But their wishes were frustrated due to complicated adoption requirements. Jade was for some reason not given Dutch citizenship by her adoptive parents, nor does she have residence rights in Hong Kong. She cannot speak Korean, only English and Cantonese.

The case made international headlines when the Hong Kong and Dutch press published the story together with the names and photographs of Raymond Poeteray (55) and his wife. Dutch daily De Telegraaf said Jade had been discarded like “a piece of household rubbish.'" The South China Morning Post of Hong Kong on Saturday carried an interview with an Indonesian woman who worked as a nanny for Jade in Jakarta, where Poeteray was posted before coming to Hong Kong, in 2004. She said the couple treated Jade quite differently from their own children and the woman rarely hugged the girl.

Hilbrand Westra, a coordinator for United Adoptees International Netherlands, said the Dutch government was now responsible for the girl's fate and welfare. Global Overseas Adoptees' Link (GOAL) urged both the South Korean and Dutch governments to conduct a thorough investigation, saying, "Children are not refundable. Adoption is a lifelong promise."

The Poeterays have written to the Telegraaf in their defense. "After our daughter came to our family we found it was hard to make real contact with her... in 2004 Hong Kong medical specialists diagnosed that she suffered from fear of bonding in a severe form," they wrote. "Despite what was written in the media we are not trying to get rid of our daughter and have not formally given her up.”

But the Dutch Foreign Ministry last Friday temporarily recalled Poeteray, a vice consul at the Consulate General. A spokesman for the ministry said the matter was “a private and domestic matter” and there were no legal concerns. However, the decision was apparently triggered by to the glare of international media attention.

Meanwhile, Korean residents in Hong Kong are furious. They are demanding the Poeterays tell the whole truth or the Dutch government apologize. They also urged the South Korean government to treat the matter as a diplomatic issue.

It is amazing how cold some people are. They just totally ruined a little girl's sense of home and family.

Think twice

In this day and age, one must be VERY careful about what to believe.
Not only are words and facts omitted, but images are skewed.

Before the advent of photoshop, images were already being altered. People don't realize that not only are images changed to enhance beauty but to portray political views.

Original:
Edited:
Ukrainian photographer, Yevgeny Khaldei, didn’t just stage this photo of Soviet troops raising the flag over the Reichstag in 1945 (the first flag had gone up after dusk). He also heightened the smoke and removed the two watches from the wrists of the soldier on the lower left. Good Soviet soldiers don’t loot.

Most of the time, images are altered for vanity reasons. The French president gets some digital lipo and he's less pink and more sun tanned.
And Oprah Winfrey might not have complained about this August 1989 cover of TV Guide either. It’s Oprah’s head all right but according to CNet.com the body belongs to actress Ann-Margret. Ann-Margret’s fashion designer recognized the dress and spotted the fakery.

Photo altering can be very evil however. Here, it is used to change Kerry's image.

Usually, it’s the photographer who does the editing, either because he thinks he’ll get a better picture or because he believes it will deliver a stronger message. This fake cutting that circulated during the 2004 Presidential primaries was the work of neither of the two photographers whose images it featured. The shot of John Kerry was taken by Ken Light at the Register for Peace Rally in June 1971. Jane Fonda was photographed by Owen Franken as at a political rally in Miami Beach, Florida, in August 1972.

The collage was a dirty trick designed to derail John Kerry’s campaign.

This last one is of a merge of two pictures to give a more politically explosive message. You get the point.

SMART!! so SMART!!

A HOOT!

Oh... This made me laugh... This is hilarious.

I probably won't be spending $50 for a wig for either of my cats. I think they are pretty well adjusted as is...
But, amazingly, the hair looks ok and like it fits on their heads... It's amazing what some people come up with.

Here's the LINK to the kitty wig webpage where you can order or browse.

Fake and Real

ugh... Sometimes, I feel like Holden in The Catcher in the Rye.

It's weird... I was so carefree in high school, and now, I see hypocrisy, phoniness, and everything just seems so fake... (sigh) I think it also has to do with the fact that I'm not exactly going through a fun part of my life right now. I do not care to share, btw.

Everybody knows the stupid burger in the magazine or commercial is not what it really looks like, nor is it even real! So, why does everyone believe in media so much still? Ads are fake; the pictures are completely altered.. media is fake... so Why has CNN become celebrity news? Who cares about fake news? Does no one care about what is happening to our collapsing economy? Does no one care about the rest of the world?

ugh... and women... Does anyone else see that there is a huge promotion for women to be fake... LITERALLY.
There's that stupid show... ugh... what is it called? The housewives of Orange County... or something.. I don't know. It's a reality show about these old ladies that all have fake boobs, fake hair, fake stomach, fake cheeks, fake everything... I mean, some of those ladies (sigh) look like their faces are going to melt. But, that's portrayed as luxurious and cool.
STUPID STUPID...
So many women are just like children.
Husband, husband, buy me this ring, and that sparkly rock... ooo...

I just don't get it. By the time I'm 70, women won't look like humans anymore. Don't women get it? We're not supposed to be proud of being so superficial.

And, men... they're pretty bad too. They love having women be objects. I don't even need to explain this. I have never been hit on for being smart. NEVER! Yet, almost every day, some creepy guy thinks it's important for me to know that he thinks I'm hot. But, I remember getting a little turned on when a guy could do something impressive, like figuring out a clever way of solving a math problem or being an amazing swimmer.

Women are superficial about themselves. Men are superficial about women... I don't know which is worse...

I guess I'm a bit superficial also... but I don't think I'm at the extreme that most women have come to these days... At least I realize that most everything I hear and see is like the hamburger... completely glossed over and manipulated...

Most women have not read anything other than celeb magazines and romance novels (like 3rd grade reading level except with lots of words like pen**, bosom, and co**, which many 3rd graders don't know) since college. Some women know the names of celebrities' babies. But, they haven't done any research when it comes to voting for the next president.

And, I do think there are a few people who are completely not like this... but, for the majority, people are just so shallow and so EASILY manipulated by media.

ugh... I haven't been very happy lately... I guess that's the reason for all the miserable posts. sorry... but I don't care. It's my blog.

Differences

It's weird... I had no idea until today that one of my co-workers got a divorce recently. I guess other than the bosses, I'm the first to know.

He's an attractive guy who's in his late 30's but look like he's only 30. Hey hey now... don't jump to conclusions. I have zero interest. Anyway, I would have never guessed that he was having these issues.
Apparently, his wife had an eating disorder and was a crazy workout lady. He, himself, is pretty athletic, being an expert swimmer and such. But, anyway, this caused a drift between the two of them. She refused to eat with the family, and she and her husband slept in separate bedrooms. And, then, the divorce papers were issued to him all of a sudden, out of nowhere.

I guess he doesn't understand. He says that people usually break up due to addictions to gambling, to drugs, etc. But, in his mind, things were still workable, fixable... and I agree.
He also said that once you make the commitment of marriage that you're supposed to grow together, not go and try to seek individuality. I don't think he knew for sure if that was right to say, but that's what came out... and it makes sense. Marriage, I guess is making promises that are sometimes also sacrifices.

It's interesting how some people just want to give up all the time.

How do you know that the person you marry won't change after a given amount of time?

I guess the most important things about a person really are: Commitment, Honesty, and Ethics.

miss world 2007

oh... so on my girly blogs, I found out that Miss World is Miss China! yay!

She is very pretty. But the second and third place are kinda ick and Mexico looks kinda fake (if you know what I mean)... and Angola was chunky and fake... so weird. Yes... I'm pretty mean... which will totally not make any sense when you read the next paragraph.

Anyway... I'm a hypocrite...
I'm a huge advocate of promoting universal beauty. And, given that Asians are so misrepresented both in numbers and beauty in the Western world... I actually like the fact that Miss Universe is Miss Japan, and Miss World (the top Miss title) is held by China. But, I hate pageants. I think they promote the ugliest aspects of human. Not only do they make it which country has the most beautiful woman, but they also promote so much plastic surgery and natural beauty is thrown out the window. If you have ever watched Miss Teen USA, you'd notice that half of the girls (at least) have bulging new implants that are hard hard. It's so sad that women feel so badly about their natural beauty... I really feel sorry for them. This year there was a poll in the Miss Universe pageant. All contestants except 4 admitted to at least one plastic surgery. But, most of all, it objectifies women... It's just reprehensible. Plus, I swear they promote stupidity in women... Have you ever heard them talk?... Almost always, the contestants are completely oblivious to world affairs and academics.
ugh... so I'm so confused right now... how can I possibly think "oo... that's cool," when I saw the miss world is miss China...
I'm so vain but I so don't want to be... I really wish I was more level headed.

It's amazing how angry we can get sometimes and totally swear that the other person is horrid and forget how special that someone is...

egg stacking

woah.... you'd have to be one patient person in order to do this!

Interestingly, the "statue" is of a Chinese 50 yuan bill... But, I don't think this is in China. As the one guy that I can make out is Caucasian, and there is English on the poster near the artwork.

I wonder if this is hard boiled or what... I mean, it would be harder to balance if they were empty shells... although easier to glue... haha.
Anyway, it will be gross when the eggs decide to rot.

wii fit

Anyone who knows me knows that I never exercise. If I were to exercise, it would have to be fun, and that I wouldn't need to drive to my exercising place.

I have found a solution:
Wii Fit! It's a new game that includes a balance board. This board is sensitive to the balance of the human using it. Some modes in the game include: push-ups, yoga, step routines, dodging balls, etc.
The release date for Japan is only in one month for about 75 USD. That's about 15 dollars more than the usual Wii game. But, this game will probably be a must have as it is quite innovative. The best news is that companies like Square Enix are going to try to develop new games using this board.

I love Wii... It's really the only console I've ever gotten into.
Although, when I was really young, I remember going to my friend Soo's house to play Mario. Other than that, consoles were always banned at our house. This is also my excuse for sucking so much at video games. And, it's a valid excuse!

Red Rain Cells

Has anyone heard of red rain cells?

In 2001, they fell from the skies in India. They replicate and thrive at 300 degrees Celsius and 300 pounds per cm^2. Plus, no DNA is found! Probable extraterrestrial evidence or prehistoric domain of life?

babies

Let me start off with saying that this entry is going to be a rant, and that, I'm pro choice.

Did you know that every year over 1 million babies will be aborted in the United States?
Anyway, that alone is disturbing. But, not as disturbing as: Slightly over 10,000 children are adopted each year in the US.

I think there are far too many people who do not cherish or understand the meaning of life.

Why is it that all these women cannot and will not go through 9 months of pregnancy to allow a life into the world when they don't have to take care of the child after birth? Yea, pregnancy is uncomfortable and hindering, but there is a thing called
responsibility. If you are willing to risk getting pregnant, you should not just snuff out a child.

Now, it is still the woman's choice in the end, regardless of what I say. And, there are circumstances such as health risks, severe child deformities, rape, etc that do not apply to this.
And, I do know that there are already many children in foster care waiting to be adopted, but most of these kids are not babies. And, unfortunately, most adopters are looking for a baby. And, there are many of them. Most of them wait years before they can get a child.

I don't know when a baby is not just a fetus, when it truly starts having thoughts and feelings, but does that really matter? It's still a potential LIFE. A potential life that is halted because someone cannot be bothered by pregnancy.

And, yes, I know there is an issue with black babies not being able to find people willing to adopt them. This is a very tragic issue...

By the way, well over 50% of aborted children are committed by Caucasian females.
Also, the leading states in abortion are California at about 300,000, with New York following at around 150,000.

From this LINK :
"Abortion averages:
Worldwide, the lifetime average is about 1 abortion per woman.
Likelihood of abortion in the United States:
An estimated 43% of all women will have at least 1 abortion by the time they are 45 years old. 47% of all abortions are performed on women who have had at least one previous abortion."

It's unfortunate that there are so many irresponsible, selfish people in the world.

weekend

This last weekend consisted of a wedding (Erica and Brian). Unfortunately, the camera was forgotten at home and thus, no pictures :(...

It was a pretty nice wedding... looked like a lot of work... but it came together very wonderfully. It's always funny to see older people dancing...

Anyway, Bob came into town for the wedding and stayed over at our place. AND, I did remember my camera when we went to the park.

This is a rare frilled shark found 2000 feet down... pretty scary. It's about 5 feet long. They eat other sharks and other sea life.

Miracles really do happen

We have had MaoMao for almost 2 months. We still put him in his office when the humans aren't around, or when we go to sleep. You see... upon the second meeting, my resident cat has been super to the new addition. Almost every time we let him out, Bebe welcomes him with many kitty licks. He in turn gets irritated and tries to nip. At first, he chased and wrestled with her a LOT. Now, he chases a lot less but still way too much. Their fighting or playing (I can't figure what it is) seems so aggressive, and Maomao is usually the initiator.
So, Bebe has always been wary about sitting or laying near him as he is unpredictable in his attacks. But, today, as Bebe was sleeping on the couch (I was sitting next to her on my computer), MaoMao came up the couch to join us. I thought Bebe would leave, and/or MaoMao would attack, but he laid down and she didn't leave! And, they both napped for a while, like this: :) :) :)

MaoMao is a lot BIGGER now. He eats A LOT and poos A LOT.

Sept. 23

We went ruby mining on Sept 23rd. We went through a total of 8 buckets of dirt. Only 6 of them were local buckets (not salted) and had the potential of rubies. Between the boyfriend and I, we found 60 carats. I found 45 carats. My biggest was a 15 carat, which can probably render a 5 carat cut ruby. We didn't have them cut because neither of us are really crazy about jewelry. But, the pic shows my finds. The largest stone is actually garnet... but all the others are rubies. One of Travis's sapphires was not a ruby! I think I threw out my one sapphire that was not considered a ruby because the guide told me he thought it was rose quartz... but, it really didn't look like quartz based on shape and the coloring was super strange. I thought it was pink sapphire but I listened to him and tossed it.

Here's my cutie. He is not very photogenic... I'm serious! He always looks 10 times better in real life. I hope he doesn't get offended when he reads this... It's not that I don't think he's cute in his pictures... but, they do an injustice as he is so sexy. ;) Anyway, he's holding his film canister filled with his ruby finds.

On our way back, we stopped by a local farmer grocer. The veggies and fruits there were so much more delicious than the ones that you find in grocery chains. The apples didn't have the chemical gloss and they smelled beautiful! If you think a rose smells good, you should smell a fresh tomato or apple... it's wonderful! oh... and it was super cheap.

Strange things I heard

Are the two possibly true???

From the Huffington Post:

"A study done last year revealed that a mother is 79 percent less likely to be offered a job when all other factors -- including resumes, education, and job experience -- are equal."

"Out of 173 countries, only four have no paid leave for new mothers -- Papua New Guinea, Swaziland, Liberia and the U.S.A. (One of these countries is not like the others.) Our health care system is the most expensive in the world per capita, yet our child mortality rate is 37th."

i see...

ok... so there's this little voice inside of me that always says that some men don't care about attractiveness as much as personality... etc...

But, according to an article from msnbc:
"Men’s choices did not reflect their stated preferences, the researchers concluded. Instead, men appeared to base their decisions mostly on the women’s physical attractiveness.

The men also appeared to be much less choosy. Men tended to select nearly every woman above a certain minimum attractiveness threshold, Todd said."

sad... so sad... (shaking head)
You know I'm kind and mean at the same time.
By the mean part of me, I'll explain it like this:
All throughout school, I thought people were idiots.
I still think most people don't have a sense of reality. They don't even know long division. Look at how many Americans are in debt, while people across the world have a fraction of a fraction of their earnings but still manage to live somewhat comfortably.
But, at the same time, I feel for these silly people, because in the long run, they pay for it 4 times over.

ok... so back to subject. For all those guys who told me that personality mattered more than looks to them, eat this!

SIDE note***
I think it is hard for most men to be with a wonderful woman who is ugly. They would rather be with a beautiful girl with a bad attitude. That is all that I conclude to with this post.

Also, I do know a guy from latter days who used to get hit on consistently by attractive girls, but later married a less than attractive heavy girl... so you never know...

update

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/62/155283559_8c2c4162b8.jpg
oh... so I totally forgot. Recently, I made my first big purchase. I bought a 2007 Honda Civic LX sedan in silver. I like it a lot! It was certainly an improvement to my old car... The radiator got a leak and the free-on would slowly leak out, leaving my AC to be absolutely useless. I had recently replaced the alternator and battery! Also, it used to have issues with the coolant leaking, but luckily, this leak was located on a hose. It had a crack in the front window, a dent on the side (my mom says that someone hit the car when she was parked at the grocers)... Someone must have been going awfully fast in the parking lot for a dent of that size...

oh... and the cats... I introduced them this week... I have pics that I need to upload. But, anyway, Bebe has been pretty accepting of the kitten except he just loves pestering her. At first, she would just sniff him. But, then, after the frequent ambushes made by Maomao, she got pretty darn irritated. She hisses at him sometimes, and they both paw at each other... ugh... and at their second meeting, I found the kitten with a mouthful of Bebe's white fur.

According to the web, we have a good pairing according to gender and age. Adult female with male kitten.
People at the office tell me this behavior is completely normal... and I should just let them be while I'm at home.

I had all these grandeur visions of them cuddling together and kissing each others' noses.... hopefully, it isn't too far-fetched.

disgust

George Goodman, who wrote the old "Adam Smith" stock market column, wrote: "Men play all kinds of games to give their lives meaning. The game women play is Men."

This is sick, but it's so da** true. Sometimes, I'm really sickened by people's behaviors, and today, I am disgusted with the stereotypical woman.

I guess you can read the above quote in two different ways. You can interpret it as: The women have the real power because the men are underneath their control, or you can interpret it as: Women don't care about anything except attraction, love... etc.

I tend to interpret it the second way.

**If you think this is a feminist post, you are dead wrong. It is the exact opposite.**

As little girls, we play with barbies, already obsessed with proportions that are only possible in photoshop. In fact, the proportions are so ridiculous that when women do attain them through plastic surgery, they end up looking like circus freaks (such as Dolly Parton or Pamela Anderson <--highly doubt they would ever frequent my blog so I will be rude). Let Ken take out Barbie. Barbie bakes him a pie, takes care of the doggy and baby.
In the teens, girls beg for the revealing clothes. It's HARD to find a teen bra that isn't heavily padded. And, why the heck do we have pre-teen thongs that say, "delicious" or "sexy?"
Why? Because the marketers know that most women just want to be attractive to men. It becomes the singular goal for women, and it's sick! If all women were this way, I'd have to say that women ARE inferior to men.
Even as adults, females lack to see that oxygen, and lifetime focus on men. How to get a date, how to dress attractively, bad evil men who take advantage of poor innocent sweet women. To tell your daughter to have scholastic goals is stupid when your own behavior says otherwise.
Doctor barbie has NEVER been popular while shopper barbie flies off the shelf. And, the Lifetime and Oxygen channel will never emphasize on career goals.

It truly makes me wonder if there is another reason why women get less promotions.

It's true that a lot of men (especially young men) put a whole lot of emphasis on looks. But, do we really want to spend our lives with a guy who wouldn't give you the chance if you weren't above a B-cup bustline? Of course not. They are despicable in their own way and do not deserve any time.

I know a lot of girls, personally, that spend hours each morning to get ready. One for hair, half for makeup, half to pick an outfit, etc. And, it's true, men love the results. But true love, what women supposedly strive for, can never be acquired by this.
If a girl is smart and carry her own in any conversation, has passions and can be with/without a man, then, one can really fall in love with this.

True love is important, but it has nothing to do with thongs and baking. It has to do with goals, passion, and uniqueness of the individual.

It is not to say that wearing thongs or watching a lifetime movie is evil. It has more to do with knowing our priorities and not striving to be ditzy.

Hot Computer Stuff

oh... sometimes, I feel like a 6 year old again. Remember when you were little and always wanted to go to Mcdonald's since they had a little toy made in China that was really useless and always ended up under a bed or sofa cushion?

Well, there is a line called "Active Crystals" made by the alliance of Phillips and Swarovski. This is what resulted:
The image “http://www.cnetfrance.fr/cnet/i/edit/2007/04/philips-swarovski-active-crystal-il01.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
Such beautiful memory sticks... (sigh...)... I guess heart beat and heart ware are worn as a pendant and carry 1GB of memory. This would be an awesome mother's day present. Fill it up with family photos and give her the stylish heart. (oh... btw, to the boyfriend: I would never want something like this. It is way too much for what it actually is worth).
It's curious that this lead crystal glass is so popular and expensive whereas cubic zirconia which is even more beautiful never caught the high price tag or prestige... they're both synthetic... Marketing is clever brainwashing...
Anyway, the design is beautiful nonetheless:
The image “http://www.sato-tetsuya.net/archives/image/gal1.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
oh... and this is a little off the topic, but I LOVE LOVE the ferrari redbook. It's about time they start selling colored laptops in the US. So freaking late! Maybe, we'll start getting some cool cell phones other than the i-phone soon. One can only hope...
The image “http://www.uncrate.com/men/images/2006/05/ferrari-macbook-pro.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Bebe hates MaoMao

oh no....
So, one of the ladies in the office said that her new kitten and resident cat got along immediately. So, yesterday, I decided to open the door wide open and Bebe saw MaoMao... lots of hisses from Beebs... oh no! So I closed the door... she resumed, nonetheless. She still every once in a while goes to the door of the room that MaoMao is in and hisses... Our sweet Bebe REALLY doesn't like the new kitten! Well, it will take time, and some cat psychology techniques to hopefully turn her around.

Here are some pics of both of our lovely cats.
Here is Bebe being her crazy cute self.
She used to be the sickest kitty at the shelter. :(
MaoMao just looks like a little boy, don't you think?
We were able to pick up MaoMao on Tuesday after they removed his balls, and did a thorough check.

It turned out that MaoMao had coccidia, which is a parasite that causes diarrhea, and in some cases, it is bloody poo... Anyway, it isn't bloody. And, yesterday, his poo became normal shaped. But let me tell you, his poo is gigantic! They are bigger than Bebe's and she is almost 9 pounds, whereas he's probably a measly 1 lb!
And, he had kennel cough and is pretty sneezy.
This is so amazing... the place that we went to adopt him provided us with the medicine for the kennel cough and the coccidia. I know that if I had to go to the vet for those and the check up, it would have been at least 300 dollars. I know this because when we adopted Bebe, she had kennel cough too, and after a 50 dollar coupon, it was something around 90 dollars. And, they missed the fact that she had ear mites!

MaoMao does not have contact with Beebs, so needn't worry about transferring anything. Plus, she's got the shots against kennel cough, etc, and adult cats generally don't catch coccidia.

MaoMao is so funny. He runs so fast for such a little body and goes, "argn argn" instead of "mew."

New Kitten!

So, this weekend, we went to Fulton County Animal Control Center, or also known as Fulton County Pet Services.

This place has approximately 400 animals in need of a home. You definitely get a great selection, and it's very sad seeing all the little animals vying for you attention. Bebe came from the Atlanta Humane Society, and they didn't nearly have such a big selection. Pretty much all the kittens at Humane were spayed/neutered already, because most are pretty much guaranteed a home. It was weird. The humane society had lots of people coming in and out. But the control center had very few people, and many many adorable pets. If you're looking for a small kitten, or a little dog, you'd have better luck at the control center too. Plus, the humane society charged over 100 for Bebe. But, the control center, complete with microchip, spaying/neutering, shots, free bag of food, deworming, etc was for $65!!! That is cheap! I takes a lot of loving souls to even make that possible.

Bebe is an extremely needy cat. She's now 1 year and 3 months old, and she still loves to constantly play and be paid attention to. If you are not dangling a feather toy, or holding her and nuzzling her cheek, she is meowing constantly. So, we got her a little brother!

His name is going to be MaoMao, which means cat cat in Mandarin. He will be coming home either on Tuesday or Wednesday after he gets neutered. He is so tiny, and super sweet. When he got our attention, he started climbing the cage door and mewing constantly. And as soon as I took him in my hand, he was purring like a little motorboat. And he was nuzzling Travis instantly.
I hope he's ok, at least as much as he can be with the neutering process.

It was a heartbreaking experience. There is no way that a person can't walk out of that place with at least one kitten or puppy. It's sad that so many defenseless, sweet, and loving creatures are put to sleep each day.

I will be posting pics as soon as the little fellow comes home.

woo... things to change your mind...

favorite necklace:

Accessories

I'm one of those girls who have never been that much into gems... but wow... that's beautiful.

And, then, I took a look at their line at bulgari.com... amazing... I didn't even bother to try to find out the cost.
fav bracelet (this is the coolest thing and would ensure myself of being robbed...)

fav ring

I don't understand... why can't they make rings that look like this in yellow gold and cubic zirconia??? This is actually an infamous Tacori ring.

It's funny how I know all the famous brands but refuse to purchase them. And, you know how I feel about gems. I prefer the fake over the real.

But... wow... I LOVE LOVE that bracelet!
